- Every drop counts! Water is one of our most important natural resources, and there is only a small amount of freshwater available for people, plants, and animals. We all have a role in protecting it.
- Be a Water Watchdog. Simple habits—like turning off the faucet while brushing your teeth, taking shorter showers, and fixing leaks—can save thousands of gallons of water over time. Small changes make a big difference!
- Protect our water from pollution. Never pour things like motor oil, paint, cleaners, or other chemicals down storm drains or onto the ground. Keeping pollutants out of our waterways helps keep our rivers, lakes, and oceans clean.
- Work together to conserve water. Droughts can make it harder for people, farms, wildlife, and communities to get the water they need. By conserving and protecting water every day, we can help ensure there's enough for everyone.
