Program Overview

The Beyond the Blue Flame program is an entertaining way to experience educational theatre and learn the role of natural gas in the culinary arts and the exciting opportunities available in the commercial foods industry.

This 40-minute show about culinary arts, safe and energy efficient use of natural gas in the kitchen, and healthy eating features a colorful cast of characters in humorous sketches.

The sketches focus on the following educational points:

  • Introduction to food as culture
  • Cooking methods for food preparation
  • Natural gas safety and conservation
  • Food industry careers

You’ll experience important lessons about culinary arts education along with calls to action and additional activities you can do in your community. Enjoy the show!
