Power Play is an “escape room” style game where you must use your cunning and intellect to figure out the puzzles. But these puzzles can be tough to figure out! Most of the puzzles have little to no instructions on how to solve them. It’s up to you and your friends to analyze the puzzle and see if you can figure out what’s going on. Think hard, work together and do your best!
What players will see:
The solution can be found by observing that various items around the lab feature geometric images. Some of these objects would be included in a Family Emergency Kit. The puzzle can be solved by selecting the geometric images on the items found in a Family Emergency Kit and entering those shapes in the correct order.
Hint #1: There seem to be geometric images located on various items throughout the lab.
Hint #2: Some of those items with geometric images are items one would find in a Family Emergency Kit, and the note left by Calamity Dwyane may give you some sense of “order”.
The first shape in the puzzle is found on the flashlight, followed by bottled water, snacks, the phone charger and backup battery, and then a mobile phone. Here are the shapes associated with the items in the correct order to solve the puzzle:

The solution can be found by observing that the poster outside the police station contains instructions. Each instruction includes a word that indicates a direction. The puzzle can be solved by selecting the correct directions in the appropriate order for each arrow.
Hint #1: Following instructions in an emergency is always best.
Hint #2: Pay attention, sometimes those instructions include directions.

The solution can be found by observing that the note outside the fire station contains letters of different colors. By selecting the correctly colored letters in the proper order, the student can complete the secret message in the puzzle.
Hint #1: Zero in on only a couple of colors.
Hint #2: Calamity Dwyane’s note hints at which colored letters to use.
Hint #3: All blue, then all red.
Take the blue letters in the order they appear to find the first missing word, “First." Use only the red colored letters in the order they appear to find the second missing word, “Responders."

The solution can be found by observing that “Aunt Ima’s Tips for Surviving an Emergency” include clues for the order of the correct colors. Pay attention to the color words and the color of certain locations and use them to solve the puzzle by selecting the color options in the correct order.
Hint #1: Aunt Ima's tips may hold some clues.
Hint #2: What color is that dry firewood? The same as the powerline poles?
