In this 25-minute play, Lorraine Quiche is just about to realize her dream of opening her own restaurant. Unfortunately, her top chef, Chuck Wagon, has been wasting energy and now the power’s gone out! Without electricity, she’ll get a bad review from food critic Eggs Benedict Arnold! So Lorraine sets out to learn how to measure how much energy we use and how we can reduce the energy we waste. With the help of Horace Flyman, a sanitation engineer, and zookeeper Adam Grizzly, Lorraine learns how to use energy wisely and saves the day for her Kilowatt Kitchen!

The show focus on the following educational points:

  • What energy is
  • The uses of energy
  • How energy is wasted
  • How we conserve energy

You’ll experience important lessons about energy efficiency along with calls to action and additional activities you can do in your community.

Game Story

You enter in the offices of The Energized Guyz, a league of superheroes who track down and eliminate energy waste. One of these heroes, Electrana (AKA Ella Hollinsworth), has gone missing, leaving behind nothing but a few digital clues. So, with Electrana missing, The Energized Guyz’ arch nemesis, Professor Ohm, can get busy wasting energy all over the community. You must use your wits to solve the clues to find Electrana and stop Professor Ohm’s shenanigans, before all the energy in our town is wasted!
