Western Municipal Water District

Western Municipal Water District invites students and teachers to use these fun e-learning resources and deepen their understanding of STEM and water conservation. We encourage you to use this program throughout May to coincide with Water Awareness Month in California. The virtual resources are designed to accompany the Western Water Quest: Become a Water Hero chapter books.

Below, you’ll find lesson plans tailored for each grade level as well as a link to Drippy’s Journey, an interactive online game. Have fun exploring these activities and becoming a water hero in your community!

The lesson plans and teacher presentation slides below are split into K-2 and 3-5 grade levels. These classroom activities and related resources are aligned with state and national education standards, and offer exciting, hands-on opportunities for learning even more about water.

Also, keep an eye out for the materials boxes which will be shipped to your school! They’ll provide helpful supplies that make adding these classroom activities to your curriculum fun, easy and educational.
