The Showdown at Two Bob Billabong livestream is an entertaining way to experience educational theatre from the classroom or at home.

Join Mayor Matilda, the brave and trusty guardian of a small Goldfields town called Two Bob Billabong, in this 35-minute show.

Matilda has a big problem. Ned Jelly, fearsome bushranger and leader of the infamous Jelly Gang, has stolen all the money out of the Two Bob Billabong Bank! Ned has challenged Matilda to a showdown and so Matilda, with the help of her friends Gordon Gumnut and The Great Barry Reef, has to learn all about money to help Ned understand how easy it is to make and save it – much easier than robbing a bank!

Through an interactive web platform, a live host will introduce a series of entertaining episodes from our educational theatrical productions.

The episodes focus on the following educational points:

  • How we can save money
